A full-time Celebrant totally committed to your special day

Would you believe it was about 10 years ago that I became a Marriage Celebrant? The inspiration came from my experience of my own wedding, with my hubby Graham. We knew we didn’t want a ‘cookie cutter’ wedding ceremony, so I wrote it especially for us. And that’s why, after a very fulfilling career caring for animals as a Vet, I decided to embark on a different path in life.

Little did I know how much being a Vet would cross over to my new profession. Have you noticed how common it is for couples to include their pets (or ‘fur kids’) in their wedding celebrations? With a background focused on caring for others and an extremely strong creative side, I couldn’t think of a more appropriate role than being a Marriage Celebrant to combine passion and experience.

Which is why it has been an incredible honour being invited to be part of one of the biggest days in a couple’s life. I reflect back on my own marriage of almost 14 years, and the family Graham and I have created, and it really does make me appreciate how important a Wedding Day is. We have three amazing children who have brought so much happiness into our lives, and I feel like a very proud Mum sharing the joys of what I do with my family.

We live in gorgeous Samford Valley surrounded by beautiful hills and trees, with our two adorable fur kids, some chooks and plenty of local wildlife to keep us company. The perfect backdrop to sit down and create unique handcrafted ceremonies.

Even though I live in Brisbane, I am willing to travel to officiate weddings. So whether you’re dreaming of a Brisbane wedding, a Sunshine Coast wedding, Gold Coast wedding, hinterland wedding, Maleny wedding, Toowoomba wedding, Scenic Rim wedding, Tamborine Mountain wedding – or anywhere your imagination takes you – drop me a line. Have bag, will travel!
